How to participate
Its simple, share your IPL Dream Team members in this thread and earn points. You can name your team too.

• You Can Select – 5 Batsmans, 5 Bowlers & 1 Wicketkeeper (For the First 56 Matches)
  • Every run scored by the batsman, bowler or wicketkeeper – 1 point
  • Every wicket taken by batsman or bowler (Minimum 10 overs ) – 10 points
  • Every stumping, catch taken by wicketkeeper – 20 points
• For every day matches – you can also predict the game winner – right answer gets you – 25 points
  • For predicting winner for the Qualifier 1,2 and Eliminator – 50 points
  • For predicting winner of the final – 100 points

Power Player :- You can pick any player from your team as power player. His total at the end of the tournament will be doubled. You have to mention this player name along with your team. or on before 16th April 5:00 P.M. Beyond which you cannot change/add your power player. That player cant be substituted later on(Till 56th match).

If bowler in your team does not ball minimum 10 overs through out the tournament then his name will not be considered for final points calculation

At the end of Match No.26 (Delhi Daredevils vs Chennai Super Kings) and before the start of Match No.27 (Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore) you can substitute any 4 members from your team, substitute player must be from same category.

We will update in this thread on how to select players after Match No.56.

How can i earn extra points by predicting

Apart from daily match winner prediction you can also predict below categories and earn upto 5000 points.
But for below category you can only predict once through out the tournament.
1. Orange Cap
Predict who will win orange cap before 16th April(5:00 PM) & win 1500 Points.
Predict who will win orange cap before 14th Match(3:00 PM) & win 750 Points.
Predict who will win orange cap before 28th Match(3:00 PM) & win 500 Points.
Predict who will win orange cap before 42nd Match(3:00 PM) & win 250 Points.
2. Purple Cap
Predict who will win purple cap before 16th April(5:00 PM) & win 1000 Points.
Predict who will win purple cap before 14th Match(3:00 PM) & win 500 Points.
Predict who will win purple cap before 28th Match(3:00 PM) & win 300 Points.
Predict who will win purple cap before 42nd Match(3:00 PM) & win 150 Points.
3. IPL 2014 Winner
Predict who will win IPL-2014 cup before 16th April(5:00 PM) & win 1000 Points.
Predict who will win IPL-2014 cup before 14th Match(3:00 PM) & win 500 Points.
Predict who will win IPL-2014 cup before 28th Match(3:00 PM) & win 300 Points.
Predict who will win IPL-2014 cup before 42nd Match(3:00 PM) & win 150 Points.
4. IPL 2014 Runner’s up Team
Predict who will be the runner’s up team in IPL-2014 before 16th April(5:00 PM) & win 1500 Points.

Double Trouble

My dream team player scored century, i wish i could double my points for that day. Here’s how.
Whatever below teams scores on that day. These days score will be calculated as doubled.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders (Thursday 24th April 2014)

Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Daredevils (Thursday 15th May 2014)
So where is the trouble in this, well we are not done yet

For example
For match No 3. Suppose Mahendra Singh Dhoni scored 50 Runs.
If he is in your team then you will get 100 points. But if he is scoring 50 Runs in Match No 29 then you will get 25 points only.
So select your team wisely and earn extra.
That’s not enough i want to earn more points
During the IPL tournament we will be asking Question at regular intervals before or in-between the matches. Predict them correctly and you can win extra points.
